CHAPTER 18

Montana is sitting on his bed in Somerset State Correctional Facility reading his subscription of the Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper. The front page made him smile harder than he has in the last three years he's been incarcerated, the cover read. “Corrupt officer arrested on multiple homicide and conspiracy charges.” Montana is happy because his plan is finally starting to come together, it costed him an arm and a leg but his freedom was surely worth every dime. Montana was the only one who knew the true identity of the Reaper, he was the one who created him three years ago when he put his plan together. The way they met was actually on a rival basis five years ago when Montana and his boys attended a party at Temple University. Montana had been trying to get with Noke’s girlfriend all that night, even after she told him that she had a boyfriend and that she was also there with him. Montana wasn't trying to hear none of that his mind was already made up that he wanted her so he didn't give a fuck how her boyfriend felt. While the party went on Montana went to go use the bathroom, he walked in and locked the door then took his 9mm off of his waist placing it on the top of the toilet. After he finished pissing, as he was buttoning up his pants he looked up in the mirror above the toilet. Noke was there coming from behind the shower curtains with a killer look in his eyes. Montana caught off guard reached for his gun but Noke was faster, he punched Montana in the temple of his head causing him to lose his balance then followed swinging different types of combinations. Montana not one to ever back down from a fight began throwing some of his own and the two went at it fiercely. Neither of them attempted to grab or push the other it was only fist flying at one another. After five minutes of fighting Montana was ready for it to be over he made a dive for the gun, grabs it and jumps up aiming it at Noke’s head. “Nigga is you crazy?” Montana shouts while still trying to catch his breath. “You know who the fuck I am?” He asked confused why Noke would try something so reckless knowing he could be killed for even bumping Montana the wrong way. Noke just stared at him unaffected by the fight or by the fact that he had a gun pointed in his face. “You disrespected me and my girl, I know that who you are. Everybody does, you’ve been shouting it out since you came in. But nobody disrespects me and it aint nothing sweet about me.” Said Noke. Montana looked at Noke surprised by his heart, anybody else that knew Montana’s reputation what would have never tried no dumb shit like that, especially with his boy’s downstairs. Montana lowered the gun. “You got balls little nigga, I respect what you did I was out of line and I apologize.
